*1. To ask the Minister for National Development what it costs the government to build a 3 room,4 room 5 room flat

a) What is the profit margin the HDB adds to the cost price on each of these category of flats when it sells them to the public and does the HDB base the selling price of flats on the prevailing market price of these flats.

*2. To ask the Minister for foreign affairs if the Singapore Government would be willing to approach the Indonesian

a). Government to enquire whether the Indonesia government would be willing to lease one of its 17,000 vacant islands to Singapore with a view to develop it for mutual benefit, now that the Indonesian government has shown its willingness to lease out part of one of its vacant island to a private Australian company to use as a tourist resort
