
The logo consists of:
o The bold outer ring filled with "BLUE" - symbolizes Singapore is a home to Singaporeans of all walks of life.
o The stylish word "SPP" formed part of the "Star" - It symbolizes the SPP's determination to strive for a society that keeps up with futuristic goals and new visions that improves the lives of Singaporeans.
o Four circles filled in "RED" - representing inter-racial society and the "red colour" symbolize the brotherhood, courage and determination of the party in working with fellow Singaporeans to uphold and defend Singapore.
o The five points of the "Star" representing -
1. Democracy - truly democratic socialist system, each citizen shall enjoy the rights of
freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom of assembly and the freedom of the
press and transform our society from a colonial, feudal past to a truly democratic
society.2. Peace - Bring about a moral and political unity and cohesiveness in our people and
build a people's defence force in step with the progress of our economy and
harmonious multi-racial Singapore.3. Progress - Formation and encourage the growth of a new Singapore culture embracing all that is best in mankind's heritage and effect a transformation of our traditional trading economy into a modern industrial technologically advanced economy.
4. Equality - Respect for each individual, for each person as a member of the productive
force of our nation capable of contributing towards its social, cultural and economic
process.5. Justice - Each person shall have an equal right and equal opportunity. There shall be no exploitation and profiteering in relation to public and social services. A truly and complete spirit of justice in our society, a real not formal equal opportunity to for all our citizens.
